Terms of Service

Account setup, roles, prepaid credits, devices, and acceptable use for PatiAI Desktop and the Customer Portal.

PatiAI provides a desktop AI coding agent and a web portal at patiai.work. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to PatiAI Desktop, the Customer Portal, prepaid credits, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, signing in, purchasing credits, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Getting started with your account

To use PatiAI with a cloud account you must:

  • Register at https://www.patiai.work/auth/register.php with a valid email address.
  • Verify your email before Desktop sign-in and credit purchases are enabled.
  • Download PatiAI Desktop and sign in with the same account.
  • Activate the device session shown in Portal → Devices. One account may use one Desktop PC at a time; signing in on another PC ends the previous session.

Every Desktop session (guest or signed-in) receives a daily free credit pool that does not accumulate. Prepaid wallet credits are used only after that daily pool is exhausted. Guest usage is subject to the same Acceptable Use rules and may change without notice.

2. Account roles and access

PatiAI accounts use role-based access similar to team products:

Customer (Member)

  • Full access to PatiAI Desktop features allowed for their account.
  • Access to the Customer Portal: wallet, usage, devices, and settings.
  • Can purchase prepaid credits and view their own usage history.
  • Cannot access admin dashboards, billing configuration, or other users' data.

Administrator

  • All Customer capabilities, plus access to the Admin dashboard.
  • Can manage users, credit pricing multipliers, AI model settings, app versions, payments, logs, and platform configuration.
  • Responsible for safeguarding admin credentials. Admin actions may affect all users on the platform.

Organization or multi-seat team billing may be introduced later. Until then, each account is individual; sharing one login across multiple people is not permitted.

3. Prepaid credits and billing

  • PatiAI uses a prepaid credit wallet. There are no auto-renewing subscription plans unless we explicitly offer them in writing.
  • Credits are sold in one-time top-ups through the Customer Portal (Buy credits). Minimum purchase amounts and credit-per-dollar rates are shown at checkout and may be updated by PatiAI.
  • Credits are added only after payment succeeds (card or PromptPay where offered). Failed or reversed payments do not grant credits.
  • Desktop jobs reserve credits before work starts and commit or release them when the job finishes, based on the model used and measured usage.
  • If a job would exceed your remaining balance, Desktop stops the job. You must purchase additional credits to continue signed-in usage.
  • Except where required by applicable law, prepaid credits are non-refundable once added to your wallet. Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in account suspension.
  • Prices may be shown in USD (card) or THB (PromptPay). Taxes may apply depending on your region.

4. Devices and sessions

  • One signed-in account may use one Desktop PC at a time. Signing in on another computer ends the previous session immediately.
  • You can also revoke the current session from Portal → Devices, then sign in on the new machine.
  • We may revoke sessions that appear compromised, inactive for an extended period, or in violation of these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law, infringe intellectual property, or harm others.
  • Attempt to bypass credit metering, authentication, device limits, or rate limits.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service except as permitted by law.
  • Upload or generate malware, spam, or content that facilitates illegal activity.
  • Share account credentials or sell access to your wallet.
  • Use automated means to abuse registration, login, or payment flows.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. AI output and your projects

  • Your workspace files remain on the computer where PatiAI Desktop runs unless you explicitly export or upload them elsewhere.
  • AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing code and documents before use in production.
  • When you use cloud AI models, prompts and relevant context may be sent to third-party model providers to fulfill your request. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Service changes and availability

We may update Desktop, portal features, model availability, credit rates, and free-tier limits at any time. We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance or third-party outages may affect the Service.

8. Termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time. Unused prepaid credits are forfeited on closure except where law requires otherwise.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, fraud, or legal requirements.
  • Sections that by nature should survive (billing disputes, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PatiAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to PatiAI in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
